Don't miss the 2019 Soulful Chicago Book Fair!
This four block, author-centric, literary celebration will provide a platform for African Diasporic stories to be told while inspiring future thinkers to bring life to their thoughts through the written word. Each block will feature a different genre, such as Fiction, Non-fiction, and a children’s block full of Children's authors, family fun shows and activities. This year’s theme: Women Write and Reign. It will feature soulful house music by DJ Duane Powell, Jazz by Maggie Brown, R&B by J. Daphney, Rock by JD’s Revenge and special headline, Grammy-nominated, hip-hop soul artist MU MU FRESH (Maimouna Youssef). The “Taste of Soul” block will provide a variety of food vendors for all appetites.
